Alumni of the SSW program from various sectors (nursing care, hospitality, agriculture) shared their real-life experiences, challenges, and tips for adapting to Japanese work culture.

Professional language instructors explained how to prepare for the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) and JFT-Basic, including exam formats, scoring systems, and how these certifications are used in job placement.
✅ Employer Expectations Workshop
Participants received a walkthrough of how Japanese employers evaluate candidates, the soft skills they prioritize, and the importance of mental preparedness, discipline, and work attitude.
✅ Job Interview Simulation
Volunteers participated in a live mock interview session with feedback from a former HR manager of a Japanese firm. This gave attendees real insight into what is expected during the SSW job application process.
